Hi everyone. Im just after some advice for what is the best method for installing lead flashing.
Im build a side extension which has render with 7mm chipping.
The new roof will be pitched to the side with a level ridge height running the length of the building.
Now is it best to hack off render say 300mm above ridge height in stall flashing and install stop bead and re render to match best i can or
Leave render on angle grind into the render and and place the lead flashing in that way saving having to re-render?
What would most people do in this situation.
Thanks Damien

Your lead needs to be chased into the masonry, not just the render. Some BCO's insist on retrofitting a cavity tray.
