Afternoon Peeps
I have a flat Porch roof (with Slight Fall!) which is EPDM over the plywood on the roof joists - Please see images. Know this is not following any warm roof/cold roof designs but this is just a simple lean-to porch.
I need to 'tidy' the porch up aesthetically and idea is to batten across making a level internal roof/ceiling and then finish this with some simple PVC ceiling cladding to match in with the windows and door.
There was some dampness and condensation previously on the plywood which caused a bit of mold which I have treated....
Can I just go ahead batten and then PVC clad? or do I need to do something more first? Did read that now treated it might be best to paint the plywood with a shellac to seal it.
Cheers muchly all
