Hi

I have a flat roof conservatory of semi-circle shape. The gutter is kind of "hidden groove" around the edge (not the one fitted outside the roof with brackets). It is clear (no blockage). I have found that there is a small area of the roof near the house wall that gathers standing water after heavy rain. I think it may be because somehow there is a very small slope on the roof surface that prevents the water from draining to the gutter at the edge. Should I be concerned and what can be done?

Thank you.

You could stick a layer or two of felt over the area to lift it up. Or brush on a coat or two of something like Acrypol.

Lots of roofs have puddles and dips and although not ideal, they don't have any problems.

If the area gets good exposure to sun (not regular sun/shade or constant shade) and drying winds, then you could probably ignore it.
