hi

our flat felt roof needs changing

we are thinking if its ok to get torch on or go for the old method of pour and roll

our builder has said that no one uses the old method and its all torch on.

also what should we look out for in regards to buying felt, the builder will be buying the felt himself but i need to make sure its of good quality.

is wickes/b&q or selco felt ok or should we ask him for a better make ?

thanks in advance

Your builder is unlikely to buy from b+q or the like as they are more expensive.

You are looking to get a minimum 4mm cap sheet with 2mm underlay.
