Hi, i'm new on here and looking for advice on work we are planning on our hse.

We have leaky utility that has sloped polycarbonate roof, it joins flat felt roof of the garage and also shares a common wall. The other side of the utility is part single skin brick, supporting rotten timber windows and door.

We are having extra joists put in garage roof as we've been told that the spacing is too big and rotten boards replaced, new felt (10yr guarantee), polycarbonate taken off utility, sloping board & felt to replace. existing brick work built up and 2 pvc windows to replace timber frames & door. The utility room also has part concrete ceiling which does not help the dampness but working to a budget so that is staying where it is.

Quote is just under £3k does this sound about right?...or any other suggestions?

Garage size is about 1 1/2 small car lengths! if that helps

It is impossible for anyone on here to say without viewing the site because each job depends on so many factors like location, access, amenities, any overhanging trees and even things like the available parking. As always you should get several quotes and compare them like for like to get an accurate price range.
