Flat roof inspection - how much should I expect to pay?

A guy is coming out to check my flat (felt) house roof soon. Just wanted to check what the normal range is in terms of cost (so I don't get ripped off!) - can anyone advise?

It's a mid-terrace cottage in Falkirk, Scotland, total roof area roughly 70m sq

Cost of what, the inspection or price to do the job? Quotes are normally free unless you are getting a surveyor or suchlike.
