I have a warm roof constructed on a new extension on my house but had to slow things down recently because I am starting to run out of funds so its time for me to do some of the work.

I have a ply deck on top of the joists (200mm) with 96mm Kingspan (90+6mm ply) on top, in my specification from my architect he has specified 25mm cellotex to be fitted tight underneath and against the ply deck in between the joists, whats the normal way to hold this celotex up? is it normally glued or held with battens either side?

Either battens or you can also use a few nails, just bang them up a bit to hold it tight if you get my drift. Fill any gaps with expanding foam.
