Flatmaster 2000 vent system

Hi lordwoody,

Did you get the flatmaster 2000 installed. Did it solve the mold problems and condensation? Does the fan blow cold air.....do you the heater switch warms the air up much.......I have just had one fitted, and tenant says air is cold with heater switch on.

No I never fitted one, in the end I opted for a passive De-humidifier vent that does not have any running cost.
So far it has cut down the condensation a little but is to early to tell.

Cost me around £300 fully fitted.

Your Lordship - I`m interested in the passive vent , can you give us a link . My cynical side says it`ll be a length of soil pipe in the loft to a vent through the tiles - always interested in a fellow Sussex dweller`s house
