Hi All,

Having a spot of bother "plumbing my way out of a paper bag" so to speak...

Please see 3 pics attached.

Ordered a tap off eBay - tap all good.
https://www.ebay.co.uk/p/Dune-Mono-Mixe ... 0005.m1851

But the 50 cm flexi hoses are useless. Please see marked picture where they are leaking. Perhaps it's my method of fitting them?
On first attempt I had no luck connecting directly to 15 mm isolating valve (rusty water(!) but no leaks) - https://www.screwfix.com/p/isolating-va ... pack/65251

So used some tap adaptors from Screwfix - https://www.screwfix.com/p/flexible-tap ... pack/2665r

Got the tap supplier from eBay to send 2 new flexi hoses (due to rusty water) free of charge. No rusty water but now both leaking from the same place marked in picture.
I like the fact that both sets of flexi hoses supplied have 2 O-rings.

What is the best/reliable method to connect the tap without leaks? Struggling here I admit! :(

Strange place for them to be leaking.

If it is actually from the crimped section then they are faulty and haven't been made properly though rare to come across ones that leak there from new especially 2 sets but I would hazard a guess that they are actually leaking past the washer. Are the white washers soft rubber or harder plastic washers? They should be soft rubber.

Give them another 1/4>1/2 turn and see if that sorts it.

Tried to nip up - no avail. I'll get two new ones from Screwfix this afternoon. Thanks for posting madrab.

Cheers - Martin.
