flexible thin-coat bead

Does anyone know who stocks flexible (i.e. for doing arches and the like) pvc(ish) thin coat bead for plastering - I know it exists as the plasterer who taught me my erm.... skills gave me some last time. He said it was only available mail-order, anybody?

You should be able to get it from a builders merchants, if not then screw fix do them. Make sure you store them well as if they get kinked it will be noticeable. One side is solid the other is in litle flexible segments, when you have fixed the bead check that the flexable parts will not protrude past the plaster line (stick out) if they will cut them off with a stanley.
