Fliud master question over running into toilet

Hi
Some time back I brought afluidmaster kit from screw fix for my toilet,it's
Been working perfectly but now it's started to overflow into toilet pan
The water board did some work outside my house and that's when it started any ideas ?

Crap in the valve. Not literally.
There's probably debris introduced into the pipework when the work was done.

The main reason for Fluidmaster inlet valves being returned is because plumbers can't/won't read the instructions re flushing through to remove debris.
