Hi, I’ve had to move the toilet forward slightly due to panelling going behind, so I’ve brought a pan connector extension (McAlpine Rigid Straight Telescopic Toilet Socket Extension White 138mm) but it doesn’t grip well on my toilet? It pushes on with some resistance but easily slips when touched? So by the time it’s all connected up it leaks, there’s no debris or lubricant around the toilet I don’t understand why it’s not super tight

Yep its a straight push back, all aligned, I’ve taken the toilet out, it’s definatly the connector not fitting tight enough, I’m sure in the past I’ve wrested just to get one on but this one is not really tight

It goes in the full 37mm as per the drawing, I can’t think of any other reasons
You’re not using a lubricant on the spigot, are you? Pretty sure those connectors are meant to go on “dry”. I once put washing-up liquid on a WC spigot before fitting the connector, and there was no way I could get it to seal.
