Hi,
I'm new to this site but it looks pretty good so far. I need some help with a new project. I've just moved into a new flat and the floors are tongue and grooved floorboards. After lifting the boards, there is a 2" air gap onto a concrete slab. The boards creak like hell and I want to make a proper job of soundproofing them, more for the neighbours than anything else! Worst case would be to remove all the boards and screw the timber framwork to the slab. What would you recommend to soundproof the floor? And, is there anything on the market to remove the nails as I don't want to ruin the tonge and groove. Sorry its a bit longwinded....!
