Hi all
I am at the final stages of a bathroom refurb and I have to fit a floating vanity unit…. However the walls are hollow thermalite bricks, covered in dot and dab, then10mm backer board and 10mm tiles.
I would say approx 35mm before i get to the thermalite block, but fixing to them because of the hollows has always been and issue.
Can anyone offer any good fixings that can fix the cleats to the wall and that will hold the unit (i’ve noticed corefix 120s)? I just don’t want to rely on the tiles to hold the weight.
Thanks
Jacka
