Just been flooded.
Have been told walls ceilings are 100% wet and more then likely everything will be replaced. Walls are solid brick and ceilings are lat and plaster and was told these take a long time to dry out.
I was thinking. Would it be quicker to dry out if wallpaper was taken off, instead of waiting for plaster to dry out, and why not take the plaster all off to so the joist and brick can dry out quicker, instead of waiting for the fans and dehumidifiers to do it's job and get through all the wall paper and plaster.
Would removing wall paper or wallpaper and plaster make the house dry out quicker as oppose o leaving it in situ?
Any info on this situation would be appreciated as I have no idea!
