i laid the floor a couple of weeks ago but only finished putting the skirting on last week there were a few hicups the **** i bought the floor off said it was unused but when i got it home i found damaged and cut boards and didn't have enough to finish the floor and the line was discontinued, so i had to go out and source some, luckily i found a few packs then i had to find suitable skirting which went on last week, but i've just noticed at a couple of spots on the side by the skirting where the floor is uneven you can make the boards press down when you tread on it, by about eighth of an inch this is whats stopping it from being perfect, someone has suggested squirting clear silicone underneath the skirting rather than take the skirting boards off, im not sure this will work i would rather leave it if there is no quick fix, i just thought i would ask you if you knew any quick fixesHow long ago did you finish? (three weeks ago, this weekend?).
