Hi,
So my builder left the slab exposed for 3-4 months after laying it (badly) on a vastly over running build. So now that roof is on its floor insulation time. Weve had heaters and 3 dehumidifiers running 12 hours a day and overnight sometimes. We scrub slab to remove dark mud, clay etc then a few hours later is dark and wet again and constant moisture seeping up at sides up the slab DPM... see pic. This could go on for months. So, what is best solution? Cover slab in a tough DPM, tape it to the slab DPM and trap moisture in so that it cannot damage the PIR? If PIR straight onto slab then once the DPM lapped over it and screeded over (+UFH pipes) the damp will just migrate into PIR and damage it?
Should also add we trying to dry and scrub it to lay some self leveller (no nonsense 1-10 from screwfix)
Any help appreciated.
