How can i fix this. My floor joist for my deck lands right where my one post goes. I was wondering if I can just cut that one joist shorter and add another joist right next to it. That way i will still have my 16 oc.

You have a line of posts with an external bearer, so your joists in general run between the posts and are fixed to the bearer except where the joist meets a post? Just fix a block on the inside of the post and rest your joist on that. The decking will keep it square.
