floor joists

Hi Guys
Can anyone tell me how far into a brick wall my floor joists have to sit ? my wall to wall span is 3.9M. Looking at the tables i need 195x50mm c16 grade timber @ 400mm centres. I am replacing an exsisting floor. Thanks

I think a minimum of 100mm.
