Hi

I have read some other posts on this forum that suggest a 4 parts of sand to 1 part on cement for a 50mm floor screed, is the mix the same for thicker screeds? say 85mm.
Also is there a formula to work out how much sand would be required?

TIA
Martin

Yes, that's okay

If you're having it delivered from a building merchant they have a calculation charts to work it out for you.
If you want to know the floor area e.g 4m x 3m room = 4.000 x 3.000 x .085m = 1.020 m2

Are there any additives that may make it easier to work with (level) etc?
