Floor slab thickness

Is there a recommended thickness for a floor slab in a conservatory? The conservatory itself is seperated from the house by double doors so building reg recommendations dont apply in this case.

The reason I ask is the builders have cast the floor slab 3" thick and Im concerned its not going to be enough, although I realise its non load bearing.

No, that's okay providing the preparation is done correctly and use approx 3:1 sand/cement ratio.
