I've just taken delivery of some tiles from a reputable tile retailer which are sold to me as floor tiles (which is what I need). They are 10cm x 10 cm and only 5mm thick. They look more like wall tiles to me.

Is it possible that they are indeed floor tiles?

Thanks to anyone who can help.

yes its possible. Thickness doesn't matter if the tiles are laid properly. 5mm sounds quite thin though so its worth checking with them.

Floor tiles have different grades too, so check they are suitable for the use you intend

As tpt as said what grade are they!!!

And what does it say on the box....wall and floor tiles or just wall tile and the grade number should be on it...

What type off tile is it...ceramic ect...

They are porcelain.

It doesn't say much on the box, just that it contains tiles (in Spanish).

I trust the supplier not to sell me rubbish - I was just interested, as I've tiled floors before but always with larger, thicker tiles.
