Very hard question to answer in a few sentences!!
Summary of where to start:
1) Mark the centre of your room with two perpindicular lines (parallel to the walls.
2) Place the tiles down dry starting from this centre using the perpindicular lines as a guide (without adhesive)
3) see whether you are left with awkward cuts and adjust accordingly
