just bought a wooden flooring (tongue & grooved veneer) for an attic which is approx 62 sqm , the room is shaped as below.
The current floor is concrete, and is a self leveling lightweight concrete bead, and *seems* to be very flat. The room is also square.
The flooring says it doesn't need glueing or screwing down, but should be fine floating. I'm going to lay it with an 8mm gap at each end, and the length of the wood going across the shorter 6m distance.
Can anyone offer advice on what to watch out for, or if I really should glue this down given it's size ?
