Fluidmaster lever dual flush valve problem

Hi i have the above in the cistern but after activating flush the lever does not go back and cistern starts
Refilling also water starts going to the toilet if i push the lever up manually this stops the water flow to
The toilet . I will appreciate if somebody can identify the faulty part so i can replace ( if it is the lever
then is it available on its own or do i have to get the complete flush valve. Thanking in advance

Daveydub many thanks if i understand correctly then i donot have to remove the cistern but just close the
Water supply remove all water from cistern Unscrew the old vlave and replace! Thanking you
