I fitted a new flush valve due to leaking seal. The seal on the new valve is fine, however I've got a small leak between the valve and the cistern, causing the water level to drop and the toilet to flush. I can't get the lock nut any tighter. Any suggestions on how to seal the valve.

Also if I do replace the valve again, any recomendation on the best type of push button flush valves with internal overflow. Currently got a Macdee Arcadia as a replacement for the Macdee pacific which is discontunued.
