foam gaskets on double glazed windows

I have 3 small double glazed windows that have plastic covered foam gaskets which I would like to replace with rubber, but the foam ones have perished to the point where it is difficult to check the profile, can anyone help? The windows are old but otherwise in good condition.

The windows are upstairs over a carport so I will have to fit them from inside which means working blind in some area's, so are they fairly easy to fit.
