Hi,

I need to replace my existing hot water storage tank. It is a direct vented cylinder / economy seven range.

I was told that Gledhill is one of the best brands on the market. They have two options:

1. Foam lagged cylinder
2. Steel ace cylinder

The foam lagged cylinder is insulated with Flexilag which is a non-conbustable Rockwool mineral wool.

The steel ace one is insulated with Steel Ace which uses a non-conbustable Rockwool mineral wool as a highly efficient insulation.

They sound pretty similar although the ace steel one is 100 quid more expensive.

Which one would you recommend?

Thanks

Pamela
