Hi can anyone help my air con is not working it has been re-gased at deasler who said everything was ok but air temp not very cool , when i switch it on there is no change in engine revs or wooshing of gas , any help gratefully appreciated.

focus 1.8 zetec yr2000 air con not working.

been back to dealer and they now say it has a leak and needs a new activator cylinder and the pipe that comes off it because they cant get it to come apart this work if i go ahead would cost me £253.00 but i arent convinced by them , any one got any oppinians on what ive been told , cheers.
there must be a way. work on a car at a main dealers is bound to cost a fortune. Go further afield, try to find an auto air con specialist. Most are mobile and will come to you.
