Hi does anyone know if you can simply staple foiltech to the underside of floor joists to insulate a groud floor T&G wood floor?

you would cut off ventilation to the joists which invites dry rot.
need to remove the floorboards and fix it from above see here

if you can access the floor from underneath might be easier to use kingpsan insulating board cut for a tight fit between the joists and push it up tight to the floorboards.
