Have you ever imagined a world where particular types of program that you're fed up with to the back teeth are consigned to their own channels, never to be seen anywhere else.

Examples:

"The Talent Show Channel" (X-Factor etc, including that f**king dancing contest that seems to go on all year.

"The Sitcom Channel" -Friends, Frasier, & any other American sitcom with episodes running into the 100s.

"The Cooking Channel" - all TV chefs and inane cookery contests.

I did come up with the idea of a "Forensic Science Channel" (CSI, Silent Witness, Waking the Dead, etc) about a year ago, but "Alibi TV" beat me to market. :(

Any other candidates?

there could be a permanent channel for friends on one of the channel 4 channels. As soon as the whole series finishes they start again and have about 4 different versions running. god knows what they earn in royalties.

Broadcast TV is a dying media.

Who wants to sit through 99% cr@p when you can pick and choose exactly what you want to watch straight from the internet.

how about the "word association - forum topic channel"?
(what is that all about? )

What about a channel for selling stuff that you bought at a car boot or found in a draw/skip or got left by a mad uncle...
