The problem is to know what you can't and can eat, honey fungus found on trees is lovely when fresh, but does not keep, and I was happy enough eating when gathered by the woodland owner, but not selected my self.

Since he collected and used honey fungus, anyone collecting it from his woodland would be guilty of theft.

Oh right, seen them advertised but never grown any., Seeing them against something for scale, & their insides, would help.

Ill take a picture of the tree tomorrow.

I think I'll enjoy this once I get into retirement.

At tye moment I'm collecting plenty of Blackberries to freeze for the winter months.
