I have a 02 Ford Focus auto. The Knob on top of the selector lever has started 'sticking' When I park I cannot get the key out of the ignition switch unless I pull the knob out with grips.
I can change selector between gears including reverse.
I cannot find any information how this knob works, if it is mechanical or controlled by some sort of solenoid.
