Hi

I was wondering if anybody can offer any advice i have a ford focus ghia 2.0 L X Reg when the car has been driven at speed it revs when the clutch is pressed to approx 4000 rpm. The clutch is biting high but drives ok any other time. Could anybody tell me if they are related and if the whole clutch needs replacing and if it is is it likely anything else will need doing. Not had much luck with garages and don't want to be charged for a full clutch if this might not be needed.

Many thanks :)

Hello Gemma I'm not absolutely sure what you mean concerning depressing the clutch pedal when the car is at speed but generally when the pedal bite is high the clutch is well worn.
Avoid main dealers - go independant or ask Mr. Clutch outlets for a quote.
John :)
