ford focus cooling fan

Hi there i have a y reg focus 1.8 automatic and the engine cooling fan is

on all the time changed the fan switch no difference any ideas

Has it always done it? Could be wiring fault. It is probably fed via a relay so find the appropriate one and pull it out to see if it stops the fan.
