Ford Mondeo 1.8 LX (2002) Alarm keeps going off

Ford Mondeo (2002) Alarm keeps going off

Locked with remote from key, bonnet, boot and all doors locked OK, windows up, anywhere between 1 -7 days the alarm goes off

Anyone know how to disable the alarm, like is there a fuse or something

Neighbours would be pleased

do you have to press the remote buttin twice to lock? often, the 2nd press will arm the alarm and immobiliser

there might be a fuse. have a look thru the manual

In case anyone else wants to know this, I solved it by disconnecting the 'horn' which is located in the left side of the boot
