hi,

could someone possibly put my mind at rest with this problem?had front outer cv's done a few months ago(massive clicking sound no more!!)but now there is a clunking sound from the front end.took to garage and they said it was the anti roll bar bushes that were worn(possible symptom of noise) and they also replaced the bottom link(rear) but the noise is still there.it makes a sound when i go over a bump etc and i can hear it when coming to a halt on a down hill(for instance;if i come to a halt then hold car on brakes then release then apply brakes straight away which you can imagine puts the car into a rocking motion, the clunk rears its ugly head.it sounds like something is lose but not sure.
has anybody had this same problem?muchos gracias for any help!!

Look to your front suspension legs, top bushes, bearings, coil springs etc.

Have someone rock the steering wheel about a quarter of a turn and watch for movement at mountings on inner wings. Also look for movement at the wishbone bushes when rocking the wheel.
