ford transit warning light

The warning light on my 2001 ford transit 2.0 td has started flashing, every time I start driving 5 minutes down the road it starts flashing. It has only started doing this since I replaced the vans faulty battery. Could this have anything to do with it? I have already checked the oil and water levels which are fine.

Its the glow plug light what flashes

the glow plug light is also the engine management light to warn you that the ecu has a stored fault, if it runs fine it could have picked up a fault when the battery was replaced but either way it will be best to get the ecu read using a diagnostic tester

It drives fine when its flashing, no limited power, no problems. I will get it checked anyway, thanks
