not me eprsonally but my friend has gave his new plaster walls a white coat. Not watered down though, just a bog standard coat.

will this be okay or will he have to strip back and start again? or is there a way to remedy it?

    thanks

The cheaper the paint the better his chances. Usually you will be ok unless the walls were very dusty.

Just use a bit of sticky tape.

    Will pass that on thanks.

Any recommended time to leave it for? some of the walls have been done for 10 days and still seem intact and fine

Just forget about it and get on with it. If it's no good the roller will pull it off. If it's good - it won't.
