Forticrete V2 tile problem PLEASE HELP!!!!

Hi All,

I have a bit of a problem with some forticrete v2 tiles I am installing. I have installed some velux windows in my new roof and I need a slightly bigger tile to reach the flashing. I was told that I could by a "marley major" tile which would fit but when I phoned the roofing merchant he said that they are not compatible.

Can anyone give me some guidance please I would really appreciate it

no they are not the same as Majors. The closest you will get is a ludlow plus but wont solve the problem. sounds like you will either have a small cut tile.. or move the window!!

Your only option is to cut the tile, but make sure its done properly to prevent water getting in behind velux. I would recommend a BDX collar for your velux which helps seal & insulate velux. We sell a lot of them for this reason
