In the old forum, if one *)"*$^*ed up the pairing of [quote] [/quote] tags it used to assume the presence at the end of the post of however many [/quote] ones were needed to match the [quote] ones.
So then, when one edited the post to put them where they should be, or to remove opening ones which shouldn't have been there, everything was fine.
With the new forum it actually physically inserts the "missing" [/quote]s at the end of the post.
Does it have to be like this?
