Fridge door won't open - not enough space in 60cm space for 59cm F/F

If you are eventually going to go for a new F/F I would go for one with the freezer above the fridge.
The reason I say this is many years ago we had a similar problem and having the freezer above allowed us to open the freezer door wider so we could pull the drawers out.

Yep it is narrow. Maybe in the future we will extend it out.
We have the stairwell below the F/F. I think we can go to about 2.10m.
We're still going to give it a try out and failing that we'll look out for a new F/F, the next widest appears to be a 55". That should give us the room to open both doors from the right hand side..
We used to have a non drawer freezer at the top, I think those were better than the drawers but each to their own as they say.

Cheers again all.

Are there any FF's with doors that open within their width?

We have a 60cm wide Bosch freestanding fridge/freezer. Just checked by holding a chopping board against the side, and the door opened within the width of the unit. Only thing would be the doors curve out a bit in the middle, so might open to about 95%.....
