Fould Smell under stairs

Hi, I'm hoping someone can shed some light on a very smelly problem!!!!
For the last couple of weeks there seems to be a very foull smell in my under the stairs room. There are no damp patches, and the smell isn't always there. It seems to come after I've had a bath or a shower and it is absolutely horrendous when it's there. I've put Mr Muscle sink etc liquid down the bath, but it's still there. I don't know where to begin. My dad thinks I could hace a leaking pipe somewhere - what do you think??

Your dad is right.

You will have a leaking pipe that has been leaking for a while & whenever you pull the plug it wets the area again.

Looks like you need to start lifting some upstairs floorboards etc & start following your piping to see where it is.

Don't leave it or it will get worse.
