I'm starting a little project of building a summerhouse in the garden, I was looking at doing pier foundations rather than a concrete slab and need some help with regards to how many piers I need and how deep.

I have look for information about this but keep coming to a dead end.

Any help would be great

depends how big the summer house is going to be. do you intend to build a timber summer house on stilts?

That was the idea to built a timber summer house on stilts.

6x5 is quite large for a summer house, youll be looking at possibly supports running the perimeter and something mid way across the middle.
