Hi there
Building a small conservatory myself, which consists of a small cavity wall with about 10 courses of brickwork, I started pouring the foundations but couldn’t complete it that day but was carried on the next day, will this cause any problems with the structure

It shouldn’t, especially if you poured them in horizontal segments (let’s say wall by wall). Even in other ca ses, there won’t be any problems since the conservatory is a very light structure.

Thanks for the reply just got me worried after reading online that a cold joint will form and won’t be tied in as one, but as it’s a small structure probably nothing to worry about

Interruptions in the application should not cause any harm, especially if it occurs in a horizontal position.

That's a good point, if you do 150mm deep and then level the surface, that's a strip Foundation. Then if you add more concrete on top, it's concrete on top of a strip Foundation.
As long as you make sure the sides of the trench are vertical and each layer is levelled properly you would be alright.

When I was selling a house, I also updated the garden to improve the appearance of the territory and increase the likelihood of a sale. Then I also took breaks and it didn't affect me in any way. By the way, if someone is going to sell their house, then I advise you specialists from https://onstage-online.com . This will help you make your living space better and more attractive to potential customers.
