Currently I've got the NT 644 PRO which I've had for about 5/6 years. I don't use it a great deal but it's worth its weight in gold when I have used it. Most of the time it's for resetting the oil/service indicators etc but even changing a battery nowdays can require something to be reset, not to mention replacing brake pads on a car with an EPB. I have just had what I think is a decent offer from the dealer as an existing customer. £300 delivered with a years guarantee and lifetime upgrades.

It all depends if your going to use the extra features it adds, your old tool might do enough.
I will check the model number on mine, cost about £450 three years ago, I do like their updates for life policy and most other tools don't do that.
I checked mine and although it doesn't have a model number on it it has Automaster pro on the front the same as the linked tool.

Mottie does your old unit do abs fault codes? If it does I could be interested if you want to sell it on.
