My carpet is fraying at the edge where it meets a solid wooden floor in another room. See photo
. What can I do to stop it getting worse?

Im no expert but your carpet looks like it needs to be covered to prevent any further fraying. Have you throught about replacing your carpet bar with one that goes over the top of the carpet instead?
