I am going to be doing a project of creating a large workbench/storage area in my garage, and I was hoping to do some planning with a piece of Auto CAD software. I have previous experience using auto cad with kitchen design, but this was a good 6 years ago, as I have moved away from that field! I cannot even remember the software I used, but I was able to make multiple rooms etc and objects of all shapes and sizes and position them etc, which is effectively what I want to do, and then be able to preview a basic 3d version of it.
So yeah, even something that is aimed at kitchens would be fine, as I will be creating all the units myself.
