I was chatting to the guvnor the other day and he says that we arent getting as many calls from the "I wanna be a plumber" croud lately but are getting quite alot from "I have my ACS but need experiance"

Makes me wonder WTF are these training centers thinks of passing such inept numpty nuggets.

If these NN's kill some one I reckon that the plod should feel the collar of these "assesors"

:)

Honestly OP its really tough out here at the moment dont bother.

I'm still getting about two letters a week from wannabe apprentices which should start to increase now that they are about to leave school.

Never had a wannabe ACS offering free work though, yet.

Had my first plumber/heating engineer in about six months on the blower the other day looking for work

ive just finished a gas installation course(blue flame certificate)

- No i got the advanced one it written in red ink on a packet of 10 Mayfair can't get classer than Mayfair after all.

But seriously we get 3 a week at least and 2/3 letters a month from these Quality establishments that pass these people, offering us opportunities to take there passers including there cvs

No want be plumbers just people wanting experience for there ACS so they can just come and compete -

i offered four people the deal i described above and every one has said something along the lines of you are joking i wanna work for myself, after all i am working for free i just wanna do a few weeks and get corgi!

Enough said if you ask me.
