Freeview set top box

Dear All
Could anyone recommend a thoroughly reliable digital Freeview set top box? I just need one with 2 scarts and a timer so that I can plug in and record with my VCR. I don't want one which needs switching off and on at the mains every few minutes or one which freezes or one where one finds that one has recorded a "no signal" screen for an hour or so. These are all problems which I have had with the 3 boxes which I have had already. We have already switched over here in Exeter.

Stop buying cheap and get a decent one, like this Sony model.

I've never ever ever had to turn mine off.
